Simply Better Launches New Collection in Spring 2024

Simply Better is expanding with new, trend-responsive designs and finishes, set to launch with a grand showcase in May.

In 2017, Counter Solutions by Lumbermen’s saw a need in the market for a curated collection of quartz surfaces that offered top-trending designs with wide appeal at affordable price points. Working alongside our trusted vendors, the collection came to be known as “Simply Better”, starting as a collection of just 11 designs from 3 different brands, and developing into additional groups and designs in the years since. The collection is exclusively promoted through our network of dealers, adding to the diverse product and service offering of Lumbermen’s.

As Counter Solutions opened their new fabrication center in 2022, with it came the opportunity to expand the Simply Better program and offerings and a need for new ways to promote and display the designs. Towers were purchased, samples ordered, and today you can find the Simply Better program displayed in over 200 Kitchen & Bath dealers throughout our footprint in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.

In the past year, the brand has continued to grow in popularity, nearly doubling in sales by serving a need in both the residential and commercial markets. Keeping with our mindset of continuous improvement, we have spent the last several months working hard to survey the market and gathering feedback on the current program and new design trends from our customers and suppliers. Our mission was to continue to deliver what we always have, while taking the offerings to the next level. With expanded space for fabrication, additional sales presence, and stronger partnerships with dealers and vendors, the time is now, and we’re excited to launch the new collection.

Key highlights of the new program include:

  • New designs that respond to trends we are hearing from designers and suppliers, including softer and warmer variations of veined patterns, metallic accents, additional surface finishes, and a wider range of hues.
  • Rich and glamorous options across the different price levels, even the lower price points.
  • A redesigned tower layout to better display the range of options and to showcase more designs, making the consulting role of designers easier and simpler.
  • Industry-leading brands who have proven the ability to provide reliable samples, inventory, and warranty support.

The official launch will be shared in May and include new literature and samples, digital marketing and promotions, and special events where designers can experience firsthand the amazingly curated collection.
